A story of freshness

Ann took up beekeeping in 2009 after joining the Lake County Beekeer's Association. Though she graduated with a Masters in Teaching and Learning, she decided it was time to move on to a new passion.

“I needed to keep my brain busy and beekeeping is very fascinating because there is so much to learn and I really like to nurture things. I love to be in the country, so it’s like the perfect thing: I’m outside, I’m in nature, I’m nurturing the bees and stimulating my brain. It’s just fascinating.”
